Product Description

This Mala is formed from 108 black tourmaline and pyrite beads. Tourmaline is pyroelectric, producing a measurable electrical charge when heated or compressed. Counted across 108 stones, that physical property is present in every bead along the line.

The stones are strung on garnet red silk, its warmth held in deliberate contrast against the darkness of the tourmaline. The piece is completed with sterling silver signature bead frames and Chinese Fu marker beads. Its Tibetan inspired structure brings traditional symbolism into a modern minimalist form.
