Bracelet Mere
Origins
Formed within a living freshwater mussel, layer upon layer of nacre built slowly over years.
Never cut or shaped. The pearl leaves the water complete.
The oldest written record of the pearl is Chinese, named as tribute to the emperor over four thousand years ago.
In Chinese tradition the pearl is held with the moon and with wisdom, the pearl the dragon clasps.
Grown in China by a family that has farmed pearls for more than thirty years. A heritage the house shares.
Never bleached, never dyed. The colour is the pearl’s own.

Product Description
The Bracelet Mere is formed from freshwater cultured pearls strung on grey woven silk, a knot held between each one. Every six millimetre pearl moves through its own shade of aubergine and peacock, no two alike.
A square sterling frame holds the central silver bead. The bracelet closes with an adjustable sterling silver bead, a single pearl finishing each end of the silk.
The grey silk stays quiet so the colour of the pearl can carry the piece.
