Product Description

The Mala Intent is formed from 108 sterling silver beads strung on black woven silk sourced from a house with over 150 years of heritage. 108 is among the most considered numbers in contemplative tradition, held across Buddhist, Hindu and Vedic practice as a count of completion. In Vedic cosmology it marks the ratio between the earth and both the sun and the moon.

The piece features eight millimetre Fu and signature beads completed with a ten millimetre Fu Guru bead, each element in sterling silver. Without stone the material speaks entirely for itself. Silver becomes both structure and expression.

A piece where ancient form and modern restraint arrive at the same point.
