Origins

Jade has been considered the most precious material in Chinese culture for over 7000 years.

The Chinese character for jade, 玉, appears in some of the earliest known written records.

Used in imperial seals, ritual objects and burial ornaments across successive Chinese dynasties.

Regarded historically as a material embodying virtue, restraint and moral character.

Marco Polo documented the jade trade routes between China and Central Asia in the 13th century.

Product Description

Dark Jade carries a calm, grounded presence through its deep green tone and smooth polished surface.

The necklace is formed from a continuous sequence of six millimetre stones arranged to sit close to the collar. The composition is defined by the KARL WILDER sterling silver signature square frame and accent beads, which introduce the structural moment within the circle of stone.

Jade offers depth and steadiness while the silver architecture gives the piece its recognisable form.
