The seven Chakras are often discussed in relation to healing, meditation, or emotional wellbeing. For some, they can feel abstract or symbolic. In reality, the Chakras are simply energy centres within the body.
They influence how you feel, how you think, how you communicate, and how you move through daily life. Understanding them is not complex or mystical. It is a quiet invitation to recognise yourself with greater clarity.
Each Chakra carries its own vibrational quality. These frequencies correspond with specific stones and crystals formed throughout the earth over time. When you understand how these seven centres shape your inner experience, and when you choose stones that support their natural resonance, subtle shifts can occur. Shifts that influence emotional balance, physical presence, and inner steadiness.
The word Chakra comes from the Sanskrit term for wheel. These seven wheels act as energetic hubs within the body, shaping grounding, creativity, confidence, emotional expression, intuition, and mental clarity. When a centre becomes depleted or falls out of harmony, it can affect both physical and emotional wellbeing. When supported through awareness, intention, and the stones you choose to wear, balance can gradually return.

Balancing your Chakras does not require elaborate ritual. It begins with awareness. Notice how your body feels. Notice where energy flows easily and where it feels restricted. Practices such as meditation, breathwork, movement, and quiet reflection naturally support this process.

If you are beginning this journey, the most natural place to start is the Root Chakra. It represents stability, safety, and foundation. Every structure depends on a strong base. When the root is supported, the remaining Chakras can rise and harmonise with greater ease.
The Root Energy Gate is the most instinctual of all chakras - it is your survival centre.
The primal energy of survival is a fight or flight response and is initiated from the Root Chakra energy.
It is located at the bottom of your spine near the perineum.
